Wet n Wild Spoiled nail polish Ants In My Pants
Just a quick mani from around Halloween time. This is basecoat, 2 coats of China Glaze Velvet Bow, 1 coat of Spoiled Ants In My Pants (AIMP) and topcoat. I believe I only used one coat of topcoat for these pictures. AIMP is a repromote of last years limited edition Wet n Wild fast dry collection for Halloween called Behind Closed Doors. It's also a dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Ruby Red Slipper nail polish.
And this is 2 coats of China Glaze Velvet Bow before adding Spoiled AIMP.

China Glaze Fortune Teller
Fortune Teller from China Glaze's 2009 Halloween collection is beyond gorgeous. Like "hunt it down on eBay and pay $10 for it" gorgeous. I know, I know $10 isn't THAT much money but I usually get China Glaze for $2-4. This is another favorite polish of mine. Probably in my top 5 polishes. For this mani I used a coat of basecoat and 2 coats of Fortune teller. No topcoat, the glitter settles into the black polish a little bit so you might want to use top coat to make everything look even and smooth.

China Glaze It's Alive!
This is China Glaze It's Alive! from Halloween 2011. In the bottle this polish is a bit "meh" looking, even after looking at Scrangie's swatches I was skeptical. Thank the polish gods I bought it though! It truly is one of my all time favorite nail polishes. For this mani I did a coat of my go to basecoat Sally Hansen Triple Strong, 3 coats of It's Alive! and a coat of topcoat. The glitter lies very flat though, I personally don't think topcoat is necessary unless you want extra shine.

China Glaze Zombie Zest!
This is China Glaze Zombie Zest from Halloween 2010. There are a couple of other dupes out there, SpaRitual Optical Illusion and Orly Rocket Science, are the ones that come to mind. For this mani I did a coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong basecoat on all nails and then 3 coats of Zombie Zest. The accent nail was 2 coats of Finger Paints Tough Art To Follow with a coat of Zombie Zest on top.

China Glaze Glitter Goblin!
A couple weeks ago I went to Sally Beauty Supply and saw this lovely from the "Wicked" Halloween collection, naturally I had to get it. Limited edition. Halloween. Glitter. HOLO. I mean, come on! I HAD to get it. I couldn't wait to wear it, so I slapped 3 coats on top of the reddish-bronze I was already wearing. This is with no topcoat.

Metallic Splatter Mani
For this mani I used 1 coat of basecoat, 2 coats of NYC Sidewalkers and splattered OPI Take The Stage, OPI Rising Star and China Glaze Golden Meringue.
Soooo... I think in theory this is a lovely mani. In real life? Not so much. While NYC Sidewalkers is an awesome shiny polish I think it has too much yellow in it to go with the coppery gold colors. Anyways, I wasn't impressed with it, but I think with some tweaking it could be awesome.
