Spoiled by Wet n Wild Distant Memory and Pet My Peacock

Today's mani is two nice coats of Spoiled by Wet n Wild in Distant Memory topped with one coat of Pet My Peacock. Distant Memory has a satin finish, the first two pictures are without topcoat to show the finish. I prefer it with topcoat which makes the pretty delicate shimmer stand out.

Zoya Frida Layered Mani

A quick mani today! I applied one coat of Zoya Frida over two coats of Urban Outfitter Silver Holo.

The holo wasn't nearly as strong as it was without Frida on top, but it still peeked through now and again. To me, that made it fun to unexpectedly see pops of holo as I moved my hands around doing things.

OPI A Roll In The Hague Mani

Another old mani. This is two coats of OPI A Roll In The Hague. For the accent nail I used OPI Fly (teal), Jade Is The New Black (green), Wet n Wild white creme, and Sally Hansen Lightening (yellow). My pictures aren't totally accurate. A Roll In The Hague is a super vibrant reddish orange. My pictures show it too red.

OPI Fly Funky French with Save Me Mani

Today I have an old funky french manicure from before I cut my nails. This is two coats of OPI Fly and one coat of OPI Save Me on the tips. Both polishes are from the Nicki Minaj collection.

The first picture is two coats of Fly in the sunlight. The last two pictures are with Save Me on the tips taken in natural light.

Max Factor Fantasy Fire Mani

I wore this several months ago after seeing a pin on Pinterest about painting strips of tape with nail polish to create nail art. It didn't turn out quite as smooth as I had imagined, but it was easy and fun. I used Sinful Colors Amethyst as a base for Fantasy Fire. The orange stripes are OPI A Good Mandarin Is Hard To Find, the blue/teal is OPI Fly.

Meow Monday(on a Thursday?)! Summer Spirits Look 2

For this look I used Meow Cosmetics Summer Spirits collection... and wore it about 2 or 3 months ago... yahhhhh I'm not so good at staying up to date with my blogging lol. I did take a picture of the products I used though! That has to count for something right? I'm going to be a huge lazy bum and let you guys play the matching game to figure out what product went where. If you've got a question be sure to leave it in the comments and I'll answer asap!

Meow Monday! Summer Spirits swatches

I'm a bit behind since it's Tuesday, but whatever!
In my most recent meow order I got a few samples of a new summer collection called Summer Spirits. Pretty much the whole collection was gorgeous and screamed SUMMER! I kinda wish I'd gotten a few more to try, the ones I did get (and are swatched in this order) Tequila Sunrise, Mimosa, Jungle Juice, Mint Julep, Teal Tini, and Blue Hawaiian. All were swatched over foundation and pictures taken in window light.

Tequila Sunrise: a true medium yellow with a subtle silvery peach sheen.

Mimosa: A light golden, metallic apricot base with a peachy pink sheen.

Jungle Juice: a medium orangey coral with strong watermelon pink sheen.

Mint Julep: light minty green with pale gold sheen.

Teal Tini: a teal base with turquoise sheen.

Blue Hawaiian: light metallic blue with aqua sheen.

Another Sweet Treat Cosmetics look

Today I have WnW matte white in the inner corner, STC Macaron in the inner half, Milani Mix It Up on the outer half, WnW matte black in the outer corner and STC Buttercream to highlight the browbone. For the cheeks I used Darling Girl Cosmetics Boy Crazy Duochrome Blush, and DGC Taupe Secret Holo lipgloss.

Sweet Treat Cosmetics Review and Look

Soooo... this is my first attempt at a cut crease lol. I think it came out okay. I'm not totally in love with it though.

For this look I used:
Darling Girl Glitter Glue as my base
Sweet Treat Cosmetics Buttercream for the whole eyelid
NYC white eyeliner to trace the shape of the crease
STC Macaron for the teal shade in the crease
DG Mommy's Little Monster as the dark tealish blue to deepen the crease
Wet n Wild matte nude on the browbone
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper for winged liner
black eyeliner and mascara with cheapie Halloween lashes.

(Left to right, top to bottom) STC Buttercream, Macaron, Candy Corn, Watermelon, Blue Raspberry and Strawberry.

These eyeshadows are very nice, extremely pigmented and shimmery (just the way I like it!) They aren't as soft as Meow Cosmetics or Persephone Minerals and they aren't as creamy as Darling Girl Cosmetics but they make up for it with adorable packaging, amazing customer service and gorgeous, unique shades!

Sweet Treat lipglosses have this amazing texture, it's very cushiony and almost "squishy". It's by far my favorite lipgloss of any mainstream and indie brand. Candy Corn is sparkly orange but applies almost clear with a hint of golden shimmer and smells amazingly like vanilla marshmallows (not the nasty store bought kind) and tastes sweet (no chemically lipgloss taste). Strawberry has the same texture and taste, but is a sheer medium pink with very subtle pink shimmer and a strawberry gummy candy scent.

I am wearing Strawberry in this picture.
