Thanksgiving Makeup!

Just a real quick post of the makeup I wore for Thanksgiving dinner.

For this look I used:

Revlon Haunted Heart Mani

A quick mani today using Revlon Haunted Heart from the 2012 Halloween collection. Haunted Heart is a really gorgeous bright red toned, medium orange, crelly with green shimmer that shifts to pink. This 3 coats with no topcoat.

Revlon Runway Pearl mani

Revlon Runway Pearl was a limited edition shade that came out Spring 2012. It's supposed to be a dupe of Chanel Pearl Drop (I wouldn't know lol). Runway Pearl is a sheer, creamy, off white with red shimmer. This was 5 coats, which took forever to dry.

The first picture was taken in natural light, the second was taken with flash, and the third was in sunlight.

Finger Paints Twisted over Revlon Royal

I tried something a little different with this mani. I wanted a blue jelly sandwich so I applied 2 coats of Revlon Royal and 2 coats of Finger Paints Twisted. I put a couple of drops of Revlon Royal in a paper cup and mixed in clear nail polish to make a sheer blue. Then I applied the mixture instead of top coat giving the mani a squishy depth.

I tried topping the mani with NYC Mattifying Topcoat. These close ups are the best pictures I could get.

Revlon Royal NOTD

Super quick mani, this is 2 thick, slow drying coats of Revlon Royal. Kind of a pain, but it's so pretty I don't mind dealing with it.

Revlon Milky Way Nail Polish

Revlon Milky Way is from the Moon Candy collection of dual ended flakie nail polish. For this mani I used 2 coats of the dark, dusty grey creme polish and 1 coat of the silver, holo shredded (flakie?) glitter. I had some tip wear with the grey creme after only one day of wear. I wasn't wearing basecoat or topcoat, but I also didn't do anything hard on my hands.

Meow Monday(on a Thursday?)! Summer Spirits Look 2

For this look I used Meow Cosmetics Summer Spirits collection... and wore it about 2 or 3 months ago... yahhhhh I'm not so good at staying up to date with my blogging lol. I did take a picture of the products I used though! That has to count for something right? I'm going to be a huge lazy bum and let you guys play the matching game to figure out what product went where. If you've got a question be sure to leave it in the comments and I'll answer asap!

Quickie Mani: Revlon Whimsical

Everything I've seen of Deborah Lippmann's Glitter In The Air has been lovely. So I snatched up Revlon Whimsical as soon as I saw it. It doesn't look so good on its own though :( I'm going to have to try it with a base color.

This is 1 coat of basecoat and 5 coats of Revlon Whimsical.

Simple Sunday: neutral Darling Girl look

Today's makeup is a simple, shimmery, golden Darling Girl look.
I'm wearing NYX jep in Yogurt on the inner half of the lid and Pure Gold on the outer half, lower lashline. Darling Girl Bare Nekkid on the eyelid, DG Dulce De Leche in the crease, outer V and lower lashline. Wet n Wild matte nude on the browbone and Meow Apparition on the inner corner with NYC white eyeliner on the inner corner waterline. Maybelline Line Stiletto black liquid liner and Maybelline Colossal Volume mascara in black. For my cheeks I used NYC Blushable Creme Stick Highlighter in Gold Radiance, Wet n Wild Everything Under the Sun bronzer and Meow blush in Aruba.

My new love, Revlon Lip Butters!
