Maybelline Brightside + Zoya Gemma look

Zoya had a promotion going on that if you bought an item off the website you got 2 nail polishes for free. I got Julieanne, Gemma and Zara as an early B-day present for $8 and $7 for shipping. Today I centered my look around my Gemma nails.

I used the shimmery white (bottom left) and satin olive green (top row, second from left) from the Maybelline Brightside palette. I've seen the Brightside display at CVS and Rite Aid on clearance, it might still be available. Review and look HERE, another look HERE.

The third color I used was the sparkly dark green (far right) from the Maybelline Eyestudio limited edition Mythical Mermaid quad. Review and look HERE.

My camera really washed the color out in these photos, all of the eyeshadows look exactly the same on my lids as in the pan. Not the frosty sage color seen in these pictures.

I Used:
elf eyelid primer
Maybelline Brightside palette on inner corner and eyelid
Maybelline Mythical Mermaid quad on outer V
Meow Cosmetics Caribbean Liner in Pirates on upper lash line
NYX Purple eyeliner on bottom lash line
Revlon Extra Curl eyelash curler
Maybelline Lash Stiletto in Waterproof Very Black
Meow Cosmetics Wild Child Blush in Snarky
Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in 902 Bare it all
Liplicious lipgloss in Strawberry Meringue
Zoya Gemma

Wet n Wild "We're Blasting Off" review + look

One of the limited edition Dream Weavers trios I picked up was We're Blasting Off. I was really impressed with this trio. At first the three colors together looked a little strange to me. After applying it and playing around with color combination I've really started to like it. I've never worn pink eyeshadow because I've heard it makes you look like you have pink eye, but this is such a nice smooth, pale, matte pink. I think it would look lovely on any and all skin tones. The pink browbone shade is nicely pigmented, though not nearly as pigmented as the other two colors.

I would describe the colors as a light, matte, neutral toned pink. Black with dark pink pearl shimmers. And a frosty, pink toned, silvery beige.

I Used:
elf eyelid primer
Wet n Wild We're Blasting Off trio
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
Revlon Extra Curl eyelash curler
Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express mascara
L.A. Colors Autoliner in Black
Meow Cosmetics "Anana" blush
Liplicious by Bath and Body Works "Into the Wild" wild berry lip gloss
Wet N Wild Flirty Rose Creme nail polish
Color Club Femme Fatale nail polish

Into The Wild smells like raspberry sorbet or something equally fruity, sweet and tart. I actually really like the smell a lot, it reminds me of a Lip Smackers chapstick I had in elementary school. I think it was strawberry cheesecake flavored, I must of had like 30 Lip Smackers lol. I remember losing this specific one in PE (physical education) and being really upset about it. I like the look of this gloss on me. It tones down my natural mauvey pigmentation and makes my lips look brighter pink. It has a pink base with tons of sparkles and teeny, tiny silver and pink glitter, slightly "gritty" feeling but I didn't notice it much. It's hard to tell in the photos but some of the micro glitter is opalescent. Meaning it flashes different colors depending on the light (not holographic).

Three coats of WnW Wild Shine "Flirty Rose Creme" for even opaqueness and two coats of Color Club Femme Fatale. Flirty Rose Creme is a pale neutral pink with a glossy finish. Femme Fatale has a sheer, almost clear, milky base with pinkish red pearl.

Glamour Doll Eyes review and look

A few weeks ago I ordered my very first indie mineral makeup. I ordered from Glamour Doll Eyes, Meow Cosmetics and Evil Shades. All three companies were highly recommended by many bloggers. The first review I'm doing is on Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE) Look for the other two reviews later this week!

Lace Panties: light pink/purple with gold undertones
Angel Wings: very pearly white with a hint of purple sparkleStellar: matte black mixed with a shimmery pink and purple
Bruised: darkened purple with black undertones and gorgeous aqua sparkle
Disco White: white with some rad aqua glitter

So far I'm really excited about the makeup I got, the colors are bright and pigmented, they last all day with no creasing or fading, they work well with other primers and bases and are super easy to work with! Though I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't get some of the shadow's sparkles to show up at all. I'd like to try using Pixie Epoxy or GDE "Foil Me" and see if they are more noticeable.

I bought Tutti Dolci "Mango Sorbetto" on eBay because of all the rave reviews on Makeup Alley. Basically is applies clear with a slight coral tint and tiny translucent silver glitter. I love the glitter, it's barely noticeable and makes your lips look bright and super glossy. I didn't notice any color on me, but I have pigmented lips so it might give other people a sheer wash of color.

It smells like artificial fruit and sweetness. It's nice but not really mango. Sorta reminds me of peach iced tea LOL. It tastes pretty bad... like unflavored lip gloss... they didn't even try to cover up the chemical taste.

For $4 on eBay it's a nice lip product if you want very glossy lips. If I had paid $8 retail at Bath and Body Works (where I got my other ones) I would have been very disappointed and returned it.

Wet n Wild: Wild shine nail color in "Sunny Side". I LOVE this color! The perfect summery, cantaloupe orange! $.99 at Walgreens and Rite Aid. The Wild Shine line of nail polish is awesome, they have a great selection of colors. They're super glossy too, though a little sheer so I used 3 coats for an even, opaque mani.

Overall I like everything I'm wearing and plan on get more Glamour Doll Eyes, Tutti Dolci and Wild Shine nail polish. Hope this was helpful!
