Notoriously Morbid: Virgo Astrology Look

Hey guys! This month the Notoriously Morbid models were asked to come up with a look themed around Astrological signs. I, being a Virgo, did my own sign and am thinking of continuing the theme with the other signs. "Yes, words are useless! Gobble-gobble-gobble-gobble-gobble! Too much of it, darling, too much! That is why I show you my work! That is why you are here!" Hahaha anyone else get that reference?

I used:
ELF Eyelid Primer
Darling Girl Glitter Glue
Notoriously Morbid Nudist on the inner corner and browbone
NM Spiteful Jas on lid
NM No More A Witch on the outer corner and crease
Wet n Wild liquid liner
Maybelline Lots of Lashes Great Lash mascara

Notoriously Morbid: Scary Tales Swatches!

Today I have swatches of one of Notoriously Morbid's more recent collections! This collection is called Scary Tales and all the eyeshadows are based on female characters from fairytales that have been "twisted".

The Snow Queen's Return: "She can freeze your heart with just a quick glance, cold yet beautiful. To be used as a highlighter, this ice white shimmer is packed with blue, purple, and silver sparkles." I also see fuchsia shift.

Belle's Bounty: "Sweet and innocent, she may appear but there's darkness and lies that surround her. Sent to Beast to make him fall in love, she's really there just to hunt him. A dark metallic gold with gold sparkles." A yellow gold with a subtle green shift and golden sparkles.

Spiteful Jas: "A spiteful, hateful little thing. I wouldn't get in her way. Emerald green with a slight gold shift and golden sparkles"

Gretel's Ghost: "Abandoned in the woods by her father, killed by a witch with an obsession with candy...Gretel's Ghost comes back to seek revenge. A warm golden gingerbread brown." With beautiful shimmer!

Maybelline: Smokey Cinnamon Look

For this look I used Maybelline Eyestudio Smokey Cinnamon quad. It came out in the Fall Runway collection in 2012. I don't remember anything else I used for this look, sorry!

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics: Swatches and Look!

This post has been a seriously long time coming. I actually thought I had posted this months and months ago... But apparently not! So here we go!

I ordered some lovely samples from Dawn Eyes Cosmetics (almost a year ago I think?) You can still buy all these shades from their various mini collections that are on clearance.

Colonel Mustard: "A deep mustard yellow matte base with a slight sheen, sprinkled with tiny gold and copper sparks."
Spot on and very unique! I don't own anything like this.

Fire Witch: "Deep rusty orange with a brilliant green sheen that shifts to a striking solid coppery orange, decked out with golden sparkle! A bold and beautiful color!"
My swatches don't show the pretty green shift very well.

Wild Turkey: "Dark deep brown with strong shifts in green and pink, dripping with color-shifting glitter that goes aqua to blue to purple/pink."
I see a taupey brown base with green shimmer that shifts to a mauvey base with blue and pink shimmer.

Imp: "Deep inky black dripping with holographic glitter!"
Super pigmented, matte black base chock full of holo glitter.

Tempest: "Deep dark blue/black base loaded with color-shifting sparkles that range coral/blue/red/green to purple/gold/pink; wild, untamed, powerful, an ocean unleashed."
I can't really tell what color the base is, but it's smokey and blue toned and very complex. The shift is really hard to describe too, it's a dusty aqua that changes to a violet mauve with gold, blue, green, and pink sparkles. The pink sparkles being more dominant at an angle.
Dreamer: "Lush forest green with a strong shift to a deep aqua with subtle purple undertones, glittering with green/gold to aqua/blue color shifting glitter! Perfect for a day at the beach!"
A sheer shimmery forest green base with a strong light grass green shift that changes to aqua (and blue at extreme angles) with gold sparkles.

Blue Horse: "Beautiful green with a strong aqua shift, even bordering on lavender, loaded with bright aqua sparkle."
Another spot on description!

Nortoriously Morbid "Belle" Look

Today I have a Notoriously Morbid look inspired by Belle from Disney's Beauty And The Beast (my favorite movie of all time!). I used three colors from the Scary Tale collection that came out this Fall. Belle's Bounty on the lid, Gretel's Ghost in the crease, and Snow Queen's Return on the inner corner and browbone.

**These eyeshadows were sent to me from Notoriously Morbid to review. I am not being reimbursed or compensated in any way. These are my 100% honest and personal thoughts.**
