Darling Girl Cosmetics: Hot Rocks Look

I have a super easy, gorgeous look for you guys today! The only colors I used were Darling Girl Cosmetics Hot Rocks all over the lid and a light shimmery pink by Wet n Wild in the inner corner. I patted the eyeshadows over Darling Girl Primped and Primed, and finished it off with brown liquid liner by WnW and Maybelline mascara.

Darling Girl Cosmetics: Life's A Beach Swatches and Look

Today I have a look I did using four shades from the Darling Girl Life's A Beach collection that came out Summer 2013. It looks like Freedom Rings isn't on the Darling Girl website anymore, but Susan has many other lovely white shadows you could use instead.

**The eyeshadows used in this post were bought by me with my 20% Darling Girl discount. As always these are my 100% honest and personal thoughts. I am not being compensated in any way.**

Shadow Descriptions

Freedom Rings: "Somewhat opaque white with very subtle blue undertone and loaded with color shifting blue and soft red iridescence." The pinkish red sparkle is very subtle.

Tank Taupe: "Light matte taupe brown." My swatches came out much more brown than in my look.

Boom Boom Pow: "If you love golds this is a must!  Brilliant metallic gold with gold iridescence." Spot on!

Fireworks: "Black base with an explosion of gold and pink color shifting sparkle and copper reflect." Pink and gold sparkles shift to gold and green at an angle.

What I Used:
ELF Eyelid Primer
Darling Girl Glitter Glue
Wet n Wild Brulee on browbone
DG Freedom Rings on inner corner
DG Tank Taupe on lid
DG Fireworks on outer corner
DG Boom Boom Pow in crease
WnW Liquid Liner in black
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Lots of Lashes

Darling Girl Cosmetics: Bright Yellow and Vampy Sparkles!

Today's look was inspired by a color combo that Valentina came up with and shared in the Darling Girl fan page on Facebook.

"For a nice and glowy fall look try Seahorse on your lid, Oily Variety Bohunk on crease and outer edge and Fisticuffs to blend the two shades, random eggplant liner and you're done."

I had been meaning to try Seahorse for several months and this seemed like the perfect look to try it out with! I don't have Oily Variety Bohunk so I subbed in the dark, sparkly, purple/plum crease shade from the Wet n Wild Petal Pusher palette and mixed it with DG Fireworks.

I Used:
Darling Girl Glitter Glue
DG Fisticuffs on the inner corner
DG Seahorse on the inner half of lid
Wet n Wild Petal Pusher palette, plum 'crease' shade on outer half of lid
DG Fireworks patted over WnW plum shade, blended into crease and outer corner
DG Fisticuffs to blend out the edge of Fireworks in the crease
