Notoriously Morbid: Movie Theme "Carrie" Look!

For the month of February the Notoriously Morbid models were asked to come up with a look inspired by a movie. I chose Carrie as my inspiration! I've never seen any of the movies, but I read the book by Stephen King in high school and LOVED it. Recently my sister and I were comparing and analyzing the differences between the movies and the book. That's why I had Carrie on mah braaaain. I went with red for the well known pig's blood, coppery orange for fire, and black to represent ignorance, fear, and insecurities. Totally sounds like high school riiiiiight?

For this look I used:
ELF Eyelid Primer
Darling Girl Glitter Glue
Notoriously Morbid Nudist on browbone and inner corner
NM Boe on inner half of lid
NM Lycan's Revenge on outer half of lid and above crease
NM 13 Black Rainbows in crease

Notoriously Morbid: Virgo Astrology Look

Hey guys! This month the Notoriously Morbid models were asked to come up with a look themed around Astrological signs. I, being a Virgo, did my own sign and am thinking of continuing the theme with the other signs. "Yes, words are useless! Gobble-gobble-gobble-gobble-gobble! Too much of it, darling, too much! That is why I show you my work! That is why you are here!" Hahaha anyone else get that reference?

I used:
ELF Eyelid Primer
Darling Girl Glitter Glue
Notoriously Morbid Nudist on the inner corner and browbone
NM Spiteful Jas on lid
NM No More A Witch on the outer corner and crease
Wet n Wild liquid liner
Maybelline Lots of Lashes Great Lash mascara

So here's another ancient look... From Easter...

Anyway! I used Darling Girl Primped and Primed with Bare Nekkid on the inner corner, Well Dressed on the lid, and Dolce Peccato in the crease.

Darling Girl Cosmetics American Gothic Look

Hi! A real quick eye of the day today. All I wore was Elf Eyelid primer, Darling Girl American Gothic Watercolor Paint Pot all over the lid (review, swatches, and a fotd HERE!), and L'Oreal Strawberry Blonde Infallible eyeshadow on the inner corner. I think I'm wearing Maybelline Colossal Volum mascara.

**This was bought by me BEFORE I became a Darling Girl model for the Pick Of The Week. No discount code was used on this purchase.**

Femme Fatale Friday! My latest order swatched!

A couple weeks ago I placed my third order with Femme Fatale Cosmetics, and like the times before, I received everything orderly and within a week! Which I think is awesome since its coming all the way from Australia. Sophie is running a top notch company, FFC is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorites to order from.

Descriptions:

Moonstone: "A sheer white shade with a soft blue duochrome shine and sparkles." The duochrome is so intense its unbelievable! As much as I love the Darling Girl Rainbow Brite 'Buddy Blue' it looks kinda weak next to Moonstone.
Archangel: "A translucent yellow-toned ivory eye shadow complimented violet duochrome."
Heroic: "A soft copper-tinged peach based shadow, highlighted by an incredible golden shimmer." Looks like a pale, peachy gold to me.
Frozen Flame: "A pale amber orange with peachy tones, highlighted by a subtle blue shimmer."
Phantasm: "A pale purple with violet tones and copper orange shimmer."
Faerie Fire: "A soft lavender pink with cool undertones, highlighted by a electric lime gold sparkles."
Hallowed Ground: "A pale asparagus green with stunning red shimmer."
Moonglow: "A pale columbia blue with a prominent golden duochrome and subtle pink shimmer."
Sunfire: "A sweet peachy pink with coral tones and a striking copper gold shine. Not to be missed!"
Shadowdance: "A cool grey with bluish undertones and a scattering of subtle blue and pink sparkles."
Rampage: "A vivid copper red shimmer over a burnt umber base."
Spirit Bond: "A deep midnight blue with strong purple undertones and a shimmery golden finish." I see more green than gold in the shift.
Crusader: "A vivid saffron yellow eye shadow complimented by a scattering of gold and copper sparkles."
Forever Lovely Rose was limited edition for Valentines day 2011.
Rebel: "It is a muted thulian pink duochrome shade with violet sparkles. Rebel is a soft and lightweight blush of which the colour can be built up to your liking." Apparently this is a blush lol, I had no idea so I swatched it like an eyeshadow.

Femme Fatale Friday! Archangel and Smokebomb

I was inspired by a look I found on Phyrra's pinterest, her post is here.

I made mine less smokey as I wanted Archangel to be the main focus. Unfortunately I used a sample of Sephora brand Perfecting Eye Primer, and while it felt nice and kept my eyeshadow from creasing, it didn't make the colors vibrant like my favorite $1 ELF eyelid primer does.

Anyways! I applied the Sephora primer then patted on Femme Fatale Archangel on the lid. I used a nameless matte, taupish-grey by ELF in the crease and FFC Smokebomb to deepen the outer corner. Black mascara, eyeliner, and MUFE lashes to finish the eye look.

ELF tinted moisturizer in Porcelain with Almay Clear Complexion Concealor in Light. And for my lips I tried out MAC Creme Cup.

MAC Creme Cup lipstick swatches

Everyone and their mama has MAC Creme Cup, and they all say that it's a 'your lips but better' light pink. They're right. It's totally pretty and the perfect everyday lip color. Is it worth $15 though? Not at all. Wet n Wild 901b Think Pink is ever so slightly more yellow toned and obviously is a matte. If that doesn't bother you though I think you'd be much happier with WnW's $1.99 price versus MAC's $15.

Single swatch is MAC Creme Cup by itself.

Swatches bottom to top are: WnW 902c Bare It All, WnW 901b Think Pink, MAC Creme Cup, WnW 372s Within These Adobe Walls and Covergirl Natureluxe 205 Tulip.

Simple Sunday: neutral Darling Girl look

Today's makeup is a simple, shimmery, golden Darling Girl look.
I'm wearing NYX jep in Yogurt on the inner half of the lid and Pure Gold on the outer half, lower lashline. Darling Girl Bare Nekkid on the eyelid, DG Dulce De Leche in the crease, outer V and lower lashline. Wet n Wild matte nude on the browbone and Meow Apparition on the inner corner with NYC white eyeliner on the inner corner waterline. Maybelline Line Stiletto black liquid liner and Maybelline Colossal Volume mascara in black. For my cheeks I used NYC Blushable Creme Stick Highlighter in Gold Radiance, Wet n Wild Everything Under the Sun bronzer and Meow blush in Aruba.

My new love, Revlon Lip Butters!

And to finish it off, a dorky pic of me smiling while Marz mimics me taking pictures of myself.

Physician's Formula Eye Candy Shimmer Strips for Hazel Eyes

This was on clearance at CVS around Christmas time, so I don't know if you can buy them anymore. Just in case here are some swatches! I personally don't think they are as good of quality as Wet n Wild, but they're still pretty and work well. Swatches were done over face primer.
