Meow Monday! My Favorite Meow Blushes

I'm a cool toned, fair, Irish girl with naturally pink cheeks. I didn't think I needed blush since I get flushed easily, but after falling in love with Meow's formula I wear blush all the time! These are my favorite Meow blushes. All were applied with an eyeshadow brush over foundation and lightly buffed out.

Descriptions

Anana: "Watermelon pink with sun kissed peach iridescence." Lost Rainforest collection Blush. I don't see much peach, but it is the perfect deep pink!
Snarky: "Bright pure glowing coral with subtle iridescence." Wild Child collection Blush.
Limbo: "Feather light pure cantaloupe yum." Caribbean Escape blushction Blush. I find it to be more coral-y orange than cantaloupe.
Hang Up: "sheer juicy peach with gold iridescence." Wild Child collection Blush.
A Lick & A Promise: "Cherry/Rose." This makes me think of delicate light pink cherry blossoms with a silvery blue sheen.
Corona: "The ideal ultra sheer wash of luminous glowing gold/bronze sheen For fair/light skin tones." Del Sol Metallic Mineral Bronzers. These come in three shades for different skin tones and have a translucent base so they can be used as glow powders or bronzers.
Lemonade: "clear crisp lemon drenched PINK." Pink Inc collection Blush. Lovely yellow/warm toned light pink blush with silvery sheen and subtle gold shimmer.
Phantoma: "Apricot - melon shade with hints of hot pink iridescence." Lost Rainforest collection Glow Powder. I find it to be more of a pale apricot with copper shimmer.
Chameleon: "So mysterious it can't be photographed! The crown jewel of our first-ever line of iridescent glow powders, this innocent looking white mineral powder transforms to gleaming gold/copper shine!" Lost Rainforest collection Glow Powder.

Simple Sunday: neutral Darling Girl look

Today's makeup is a simple, shimmery, golden Darling Girl look.
I'm wearing NYX jep in Yogurt on the inner half of the lid and Pure Gold on the outer half, lower lashline. Darling Girl Bare Nekkid on the eyelid, DG Dulce De Leche in the crease, outer V and lower lashline. Wet n Wild matte nude on the browbone and Meow Apparition on the inner corner with NYC white eyeliner on the inner corner waterline. Maybelline Line Stiletto black liquid liner and Maybelline Colossal Volume mascara in black. For my cheeks I used NYC Blushable Creme Stick Highlighter in Gold Radiance, Wet n Wild Everything Under the Sun bronzer and Meow blush in Aruba.

My new love, Revlon Lip Butters!

And to finish it off, a dorky pic of me smiling while Marz mimics me taking pictures of myself.

Wet n Wild Dancing in the Clouds trio review, swatches and look

For this look I used Wet n Wild limited edition Dream Weavers eyeshadow trio in Dancing in the Clouds. When I first saw this collections I was happily surprised by the choice in colors, though I didn't really see how they were "space" themed. After looking at each individual trio I noticed they have rather unusual color combinations.
I was especially unsure of how well a bright purple with blue shimmer would go with metallic copper and an old gold/pewter. The proof is in the pudding!

The pigmentation is amazing! Except for the purple... The prettiest one of course. It takes quite a bit of work to get it to actually look like the color in the pan. So worth it though. This trio is gorgeous!

Left to right the purple is packed on over NYX jumbo pencil in Slate, NYX jumbo pencil in Yogurt, elf eyelid primer, Maybelline dream mousse eyeshadow in Vanilla Veil, Covergirl Shadow Squease in Cloud and Almay concealer in Light. None of them worked that well except for NYX jumbo pencils.

This is swatched over NYX jumbo pencil in Slate, Yogurt and Milk. Slate really brings out the blue shift, Yogurt does a decent job but changes the purple shade a bit (I wouldn't use it), Milk sorta makes the purple look muddy and kinda funny looking.

I ended up using NYX eyeliner in Purple as a base for the purple eyeshadow and NYX jumbo pencil in Yogurt as a base for the copper and pewter.

I Used:
elf eyelid primer from lashes to brow

NYX eyeliner in Purple as base on outer V and bottom lashline
NYX jumbo pencil in Yogurt as base on rest of lid and inner corner
WnW Dancing in the Clouds followed suggested placement except for pewter on inner corner not browbone.
Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid liner in Black on top lashline
Revlon Extra Curl eyelash curler
Maybelline Colossal mascara in Classic Black
L.A. Colors auto eyeliner in Black (lasts all day on my waterline without fading)
NYC limited edition blushable creme stick in Golden Radiance (cheek highlight)
Meow Cosmetics Wild Child blush in Snarky
Rimmel Vinyl Bronze lipgloss in Golden Goddess

WnW Fast Dry nail polish in Buffy the Violet Slayer

The Fast Dry formula isn't as smooth and glossy as the Wild Shine polishes, but it does dry a bit faster. I have a coat of Color Club Vivid top coat on.

Dancing in the Clouds is a great dupe for Urban Decay Summer of love palette (obviously the purple is not as good as the Urban Decay purple). I know I've seen comparison swatches online. Summer of Love palette is around $20 on eBay. I don't think you can buy it in stores anymore... So for three dollars WnW is a good alternative.
