Illamasqua Viridian swatches

This my first and only product by Illamasqua, I have heard wonderful things about them and fully plan on expanding my collection... when I get rich...

Anywaysssss I really enjoyed the formula of Viridian. If this is consistent through out their line of products then I can see why they are so popular! I think next on my list will be Scarab (duh!) and someday I hope to get my hands on Raindrops and Hemlock.

Wet n Wild Jungle Fever Halloween 2011

I'm starting to get into the the Fall season; I've changed out my Spring and Summer perfumes for Fall and Winter, and wearing darker colors on my nails. I'm not sure I'll be putting away my bright eyeshadow, but we will see ;)

For today I have swatches of an older polish. This is Jungle Fever from Wet n Wild's Halloween 2011 Fast Dry nail polish collection. To me, this is the perfect color to transition from Summer to Fall. Jungle Fever is a smoky, medium forest green with chunky silver shimmer that gives the polish an over all dusty, sage look.
The formula was very lovely too! This was two coats with no topcoat.

Spoiled by Wet n Wild Distant Memory and Pet My Peacock

Today's mani is two nice coats of Spoiled by Wet n Wild in Distant Memory topped with one coat of Pet My Peacock. Distant Memory has a satin finish, the first two pictures are without topcoat to show the finish. I prefer it with topcoat which makes the pretty delicate shimmer stand out.

Zoya Frida Layered Mani

A quick mani today! I applied one coat of Zoya Frida over two coats of Urban Outfitter Silver Holo.

The holo wasn't nearly as strong as it was without Frida on top, but it still peeked through now and again. To me, that made it fun to unexpectedly see pops of holo as I moved my hands around doing things.

Smitten Polish Hocus Pocus

Today I have swatches of Smitten Polish Hocus Pocus (anyone else love that movie?) I got this on sale after Halloween which leads me to believe that it was limited edition.

Hocus Pocus is a gorgeous vibrant, medium-dark, purple jelly base with purple and pink holo glitter.

These picture were taken in sunlight, and I believe I am wearing three coat of polish.

Sally Hansen In A Flurry Sponged Gradient Mani

I wasn't crazy about Sally Hansen In A Flurry from the limited edition Fall 2012 collection, but it looks really pretty paired with Sinful Colors Last Chance. I applied two coats of Last Chance and sponged two layers of In A Flurry on top. Then topped it off with topcoat.

OPI German-icure Mani

A quick mani with OPI German-icure from the Fall 2012 Germany collection. This is two coats, no topcoat. Pictures taken in sunlight.

German-icure is a dark, vampy, slightly brown tinged, rusty red base with red shimmer that shifts at extreme angles to a coppery gold.
