Revlon Tutti Frutti!

Tutti Frutti is the first of a couple new Lip Butters I have to show you. Tutti Frutti isn't as opaque as Sugar Plum, but it's a gorgeous sheer, bright, medium orange. This Spring I've been seeing orange lippies EVERYWHERE, Tutti Frutti would be a perfect intro for someone wanting to try this trend.

Simple Sunday: Wet n Wild nude matte look with purple!

For this look I used the Wet n Wild I <3 Matte palette to create a nude look. I put the tan shade on my eyelid, the brown in the crease and the nude color on my browbone. I then used Meow Cosmetics Fairy eyeshadow from the Christmas Sugarplum collection as my winged liner and Darling Girl Indigo as the inner corner highlight. And for my lips I used Revlon Lip Butter in Sugarplum.

Kat Von D red/maroon, grey and silver look

I did this look several weeks ago and finally got around to cropping photos lol.

I'm wearing:
Shiro Cosmetics "Huge Success" on inner corner and lower lashline
Kat Von D True Romance Pigment in Ladyhawke on lid
KVD Metal Orchestra palette light grey color on inner crease and gunmetal color on outer crease
KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper on upper lashline
Meow Cosmetics blush in Sugarplums on cheeks
Covergirl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in 205 Tulip
Sweet Treat Cosmetics lip gloss in Strawberry

While I think Kat Von D's line (or anything at Sephora) is over priced, I really like these products and the quality is very good too.

Darling Girl Cosmetics lipstick and gloss swatches and review

This is the promised lippies post I mentioned in the blogger review and eyeshadow posts from a couple days ago. Today I have swatches of Goldfinger Holo Gloss, Pomegranate Pout Kiss Me: Tinted Lip Balm and Poison Plum Kiss You Off: Color Rich Lip Balm.

Goldfinger is described as: "A blend of buttery yellow gold reflects and '3D' copper pearl." The copper isn't noticeable, but it does give the gold some depth.

Pomegranate Pout is described as: "Sheer blackened red with a kiss of copper pearl." I wouldn't call it blackened, but this is an accurate description.

I left this one large so you can see the copper pearl better.

Poison Plum is described as: "A deep berry base blended with loads of red and gold flash that meld together to make this gorgeous plummy wine shade." When applied heavily this almost looks like it has a gold duochrome to it! This was a part of the Darling Ghoul Halloween collection and is no longer available I think...

In the photos the balms looked like they applied patchy and settled in lines, but in person they didn't look that way.
