Kinda old mani using Orly Buried Alive from the collection based on the movie Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp. I thought the movie was cute and funny, it got terrible reviews though. This Dark Shadows collection didn't get rave reviews either, but I really liked this particular polish. The formula was nice and the color is lovely and totally unique in my collection.

Another late Halloween mani!
I think the title is pretty obvious, though this was my actual Halloween mani that I wore to go trick or treating with Gabe and Marz. I started off with my usual basecoat and then 2 coats of Finger Paint Tough Art To Follow. The Finger Paint was a little bit streaky, but not nearly as bad as the pictures make it look. I think this would make a good dupe for Zoya Shawn.
Then I topped TATF with a coat of Orly Monster Mash from the Halloween collection and 1 coat of topcoat.
Just for fun, here are a few pictures from that night :)

Toxid Lotus Challenge: Dragon / Chinese New Year look
One of my favorite blogs, Toxid-Lotus, has started doing weekly challenges! Yay! This week was Dragon inspired. It worked out well for me since I had a Chinese New Year look planned.
I used:
Elf eyelid primer
NYX jumbo pencil in Pure Gold on inner corner
Darling Girl Glitter Glue on lid
Wet n Wild gold eyeshadow from "I Got Good Jeans" trio on inner corner
Glamour Doll Eyes "Jailhouse Jumpsuit" on inner half of lid
Femme Fatale Cosmetics "Flare" on outer half of lid
Persephone Minerals "Shell Shock" on lower lashline and blended into outer corner
Meow Cosmetics Rainforest Glow Powder in Chameleon on browbone and cheekbones
Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in 625 "Are you Red-dy"
Darling Girl Holo Gloss in Holly Jolly
Holly Jolly on it's own is a bit sheer, but over a similarly colored red it really comes to life. The green shimmer is to die for!
This is Orly "Ma Cherie" from the Holiday collection. It's not quite as light and bright as in these pictures.
And of course I couldn't leave it alone so I topped it off with Finger Paints Motley.
